The Capuchin convent, whose creation is said to be of 1645, was founded officially in 1656. The Capuchin fathers ensured preaching in the parishes as well as the teaching of children. The monks remained there until 1797. Put up for sale, the convent was purchased by the commune in 1803, but continued to be guarded by a Capuchin father. In 1908, the convent was sold to a private individual who transformed it into a castle. The plan follows that of the convent buildings in U-shape: a main corps of building and two return wings are organized on two levels around a square courtyard, the former cloister. To the north, the church closes this courtyard. The interior is adorned with woodwork in the reception rooms of the main building. Also noteworthy are the marble columns in the salons, the fireplace with sculpted hood and the mosaic in the salons and vestibule.
