Edifiée en 1488, cathédrale en 1590, l'église est entièrement reconstruite de 1604 à 1625 (aucun vestige de l'édifice antique). Façade occidentale réalisée vers 1660-1670, présentant un décor baroque directement issu de la tradition gênoise. Elle est à deux niveaux surmontés de trois frontons. Clocher carré construit contre le côté sud de l'abside, terminé en 1620. Façade et clocher restaurés à la fin du 19e siècle et en 1938.

History
Built in 1488, cathedral in 1590, the church is entirely rebuilt from 1604 to 1625 (no remains of the ancient building). Building with three naves of five bays (central nave with barrel vault, lateral naves with rib vaults). Walls decorated with stucco and paintings in the 18th and 19th centuries. Altars in polychrome marble. Western facade realised around 1660-1670, presenting Baroque decoration directly derived from the Genoese tradition. It is at two levels topped by three pediments. Square bell tower built against the south side of the chevet, completed in 1620. Facade and bell tower restored at the end of the 19th century and in 1938.
