Edifié en 1599, l'oratoire se situait hors des murs de la ville. Il était le siège de la confrérie de Saint-Roch et Saint-Sébastien, chargée d'apporter des sacrements, la nuit, à une population qui ne pouvait recourir aux services de la cathédrale, les portes de la ville étant fermées. L'oratoire se présente comme un édifice maniériste, modifié au 18e siècle. History
Built in 1599, the oratory was situated outside the walls of the town. It was the seat of the confraternity of Saint-Roch and Saint-Sebastian, charged with bringing the sacraments, at night, to a population which could not resort to the services of the cathedral, the gates of the town being closed. The oratory presents itself as a Mannerist building, modified in the 18th century. The nave is covered with a vault and terminates in a deep choir, whose high altar with stuccoed decoration is surmounted by Corinthian columns crowned with an interrupted pediment. The lateral walls are marked by flat pilasters supporting a thick cornice, and pierced by two arches opening onto two lateral chapels.
