History
Property of the abbey of Marmoutiers, this building was the "gréneterie", a sort of warehouse where the monks stored the harvests from their estates. One distinguished the large and small gréneteries. Only this latter survives. It is a construction which appears to be a reworking of the 15th century on a building of the 14th century, as the modification of the openings of the façades seems to indicate. The western wing must have been added in the 15th century, as well as a staircase tower at the angle of the central gable.
