Historique
Cette chapelle est l'un des rares témoins en Touraine de l'architecture du 14e siècle. C'est un édifice à nef unique, primitivement couvert en charpente, éclairé sur chaque côté par deux grandes fenêtres en tiers-point. L'abside à cinq pans semble un peu antérieure. Cette abside devait être couverte d'une voûte angevine qui ne fut probablement jamais réalisée. Des restes de polychromie subsistent sur l'ensemble des moulurations à l'intérieur de l'abside. Le choeur a été décoré vers 1458, à la demande de Jean Bernard, archevêque de Tours. A l'extérieur, aux 18e et 19e siècles, les contreforts ont été retirés et ont été construits, côtés sud et ouest, de petits bâtiments qui enserrent l'édifice. Un pignon mouluré à crochets termine la construction.

History
This chapel is one of the rare witnesses in Touraine of the architecture of the 14th century. It is a building with a single nave, originally covered in timber framing, lit on each side by two large pointed arch windows. The five-sided apse seems a little earlier. This apse was to be covered with an Angevin vault which was probably never realised. Traces of polychromy remain on all the mouldings within the apse. The choir was decorated around 1458, at the request of Jean Bernard, archbishop of Tours. Externally, in the 18th and 19th centuries, the buttresses were removed and small buildings were constructed on the south and west sides, which enclose the building. A moulded gable with crockets terminates the building.
