L'ancienne église appartenait à l'abbaye de Noyers qui la reçut en don au début du 12e siècle. Elle fut sans doute reconstruite après cette donation. Le prieuré cure constituait un fief relevant de Faye. Ruiné, l'édifice présente une façade occidentale percée d'une porte en plein cintre dont les voussures ont conservé des traces de leur mouluration et sont circonscrites par une archivolte décorée d'une ligne de festons et d'un damier. L'édifice se compose d'une nef couverte en charpente, terminée par un chevet plat. La nef est accompagnée au nord par un collatéral ajouté au 15e siècle. Le choeur rectangulaire, du 15e siècle, est en ruine.

History
The former church belonged to the abbey of Noyers which received it as a gift in the early 12th century. It was no doubt rebuilt after this donation. The priory cure constituted a fief dependent on Faye. Ruined, the building presents a western façade pierced by a round arch door whose voussoirs have preserved traces of their moulding and are circumscribed by an archivolt decorated with a line of scallops and a chequerboard pattern. The building consists of a nave covered with roof structure, terminated by a flat chevet. The nave is accompanied to the north by an aisle added in the 15th century. The rectangular choir, of the 15th century, is in ruins.
