The right of collation belonged, until the 17th century, to the abbey of Marmoutier, and then became property of the king. The priory was suppressed at the Revolution and the church partly destroyed at that time. The prioral main dwelling of the 15th century was restored with fancy at the beginning of the 20th century. The Gallo-Roman villa, of which substantial vestiges remain, was supplied with water by the aqueduct duct. The door of the cistern supplied by this aqueduct was remade in the 15th century. Of the church, there remain the first two bays of the nave, and part of the south gutter wall. The façade is flanked to the north by a tower containing a staircase of which only the base remains, and which was probably a bell tower. The two bays are vaulted with ribs with prismatic mouldings, remade in the 15th century, bearing on supports of the 13th century.
