Historique
Ce prieuré appartenait à l'abbaye de Bourgueil. Il fut fondé au 11e siècle par Lovo et son frère Rahier. Le prieuré fortifié était entouré de douves dont une subsiste encore à l'est. Elle est franchie par un pont dormant accédant à la porte dont ne subsistent plus qu'en partie les murs latéraux percés de meurtrières. Le logis du prieur présente, sur la cour, une porte surmontée d'armoiries qui ont été bûchées et, au premier étage, deux fenêtres dont l'une a son encadrement mouluré et décoré d'angelots. La chapelle à l'angle est convertie en remise. Au sud du couvent subsiste la grange, composée de trois nefs de cinq travées.

History
This priory belonged to the abbey of Bourgueil. It was founded in the 11th century by Lovo and his brother Rahier. The fortified priory was surrounded by moats, one of which still subsists on the east. It is crossed by a fixed bridge accessing the gate of which only part of the lateral walls pierced with loopholes remain. The prior's dwelling presents, on the courtyard, a door surmounted by coat of arms which have been erased and, on the first floor, two windows of which one has its moulded and decorated frame with cherubs. The chapel at the corner is converted into a store. South of the convent subsists the barn, composed of three naves of five bays.
