History
The château is composed of a main dwelling, raised in the time of Henri II, which terminates overlooking the courtyard by a tower with staircase; and a low wing returning at its other extremity. Near the gateway of the forecourt stands an old small manor house. High dormers in stone, crowned with pediments, ornament the roofs, which are surmounted by important stone and brick chimney stacks. The returning wing presents a ground floor with gallery on arcades. The small manor house is pierced, on the château side, with superimposed windows framed by pilasters, dating from the first Renaissance.
