Historique
Le village a été réorganisé par la marquise de Pompadour de 1750 à 1754. Construit en 1754 et inauguré l'année suivante, l'hôpital a été commandité par cette dernière pour accueillir les pauvres des paroisses de son domaine. Les deux ailes latérales ont disparu à la fin du 18e siècle. Partant du corps principal, elles rejoignaient, au sud, le bâtiment de ferme, et au nord, le bâtiment subsistant faisant office de serre. Sur un soubassement de pierre de taille, la brique est utilisée pour l'ossature. L'intérieur comportait, entre autre, une salle pour les femmes et une pour les hommes. Le jardin à l'anglaise a remplacé un ancien jardin à la française. Il comporte un bassin avec une fontaine centrale et une pompe installée au 19e siècle.

History
The village was reorganized by the marquise de Pompadour from 1750 to 1754. Built in 1754 and inaugurated the following year, the hospital was commissioned by her to accommodate the poor of the parishes of her domain. The two lateral wings disappeared at the end of the 18th century. Starting from the main block, they joined, to the south, the farm building, and to the north, the surviving building serving as a greenhouse. On a foundation of ashlar stone, brick is used for the structure. The interior comprised, among other things, a hall for women and one for men. The English garden replaced an old French garden. It comprises a basin with a central fountain and a pump installed in the 19th century.
