Historique
Ancienne chapelle du château médiéval, devenue église paroissiale dès 1216. A la fin du 15e siècle, et au cours du 16e, l'édifice est agrandi et reçoit une décoration dont il reste de rares traces. Dès 1750, la marquise de Pompadour, qui reçoit le domaine en cadeau de Louis XV, transforme l'église en y faisant ajouter une abside à cinq pans ainsi qu'une façade occidentale avec fronton.

History
Former chapel of the medieval castle, becoming a parish church from 1216. At the end of the 15th century, and in the course of the 16th, the building is enlarged and receives a decoration of which only rare traces remain. From 1750, the marquise de Pompadour, who receives the estate as a gift from Louis XV, transforms the church by having added to it an apse with five sides as well as a western facade with fronton.
