Ce moulin fait partie du type de moulin tout en bois, de forme prismatique, rectangulaire. Il est érigé sur une tourelle de maçonnerie qui servait de magasin. Il est monté, comme beaucoup de moulins beaucerons, sur un pivot soutenu par des étais. La tour rectangulaire est constituée d'un bardage de bois et abrite le mécanisme. Les quatre ailes sont fixées perpendiculairement à l'arbre, et ont été munies de planchettes articulées et commandées de l'intérieur, par un mécanisme, afin de remplacer les ailes de toiles. Concurrencés depuis le milieu du 19e siècle par la machine à vapeur et la modernisation des moulins à eau, les moulins à vent ont eu leur heure de gloire au 18e siècle et au début du 19e.

History
This mill belongs to the type of all-wood mill, of prismatic, rectangular form. It is erected on a masonry tower which served as a store. It is mounted, like many mills of the Beauce, on a pivot supported by stays. The rectangular tower is constructed of wood cladding and houses the mechanism. The four sails are fixed perpendicular to the shaft, and have been fitted with articulated boards controlled from inside by a mechanism, in order to replace canvas sails. Competed against from the middle of the 19th century by the steam engine and the modernisation of water mills, windmills had their hour of glory in the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th.
