D'une quarantaine de mètres de diamètre, la motte castrale est formée d'un tronc de cône aplati à son sommet, et ceinturé d'un large fossé sec, utilisé comme chemin. Aucune trace de basse cour n'a encore été décelée. Cet ouvrage est datable du 10e au 12e siècle. Il est sans doute le siège de l'ancienne seigneurie de Prasville, et participait, avec d'autres mottes du même type aujourd'hui détruites, à la recomposition d'un territoire à la période féodale.

History
About forty metres in diameter, the motte is formed of a truncated cone flattened at its summit, and surrounded by a wide dry ditch, used as a path. No trace of a lower ward has yet been detected. This work is datable to the 10th to 12th centuries. It is doubtless the seat of the former seigneury of Prasville, and participated, with other mottes of the same type now destroyed, in the recomposition of a territory during the feudal period.
