Moulin de type beauceron archaïque, sans tourelle de base en maçonnerie, monté sur un pivot soutenu par quatre étais qui reposent eux-mêmes sur des blocs de pierre. Le moulin pivote pour prendre le vent au moyen d'une queue, tige de bois fixée à sa base, poussée à bras d'homme sur l'aire circulaire qui entoure le bâtiment. Celui-ci est une tour de bois rectangulaire, faite de bardages verticaux, et surmontée d'un toit à deux pentes. Les ailes ne sont plus équipées en toile, mais à pales en bois articulées, actionnées de l'intérieur. Le moulin comporte deux étages. L'accès à l'étage inférieur se fait par un escalier de bois solidaire de la queue. Cet étage sert de magasin. Une échelle et une trappe permettent de monter au second étage qui renferme tout le mécanisme. Tout le système est en chêne, y compris les engrenages, les axes, les pivots, le frein des ailes.

History
Mill of archaic Beauce type, without a base turret in masonry, mounted on a pivot supported by four struts which themselves rest on blocks of stone. The mill pivots to catch the wind by means of a tail, a wooden rod fixed to its base, pushed by hand over the circular area surrounding the building. The latter is a rectangular wooden tower, made of vertical sheathing, and surmounted by a roof with two slopes. The sails are no longer equipped with canvas, but with jointed wooden blades, operated from inside. The mill has two storeys. Access to the lower storey is by a wooden staircase integral with the tail. This storey serves as a store. A ladder and trapdoor allow access to the second storey which contains all the machinery. The entire system is in oak, including the gears, the shafts, the pivots, the brake of the sails.
