History
Mural paintings were discovered in the apse of the church. The walls were covered with render, probably after the combats of 1870 against the Prussians. These paintings were hacked to maintain a disappeared render. They represent scenes of the life of Christ and of Saint John the Baptist: feast of Herod, baptism of Christ, holy women at the tomb. Other glue-based paintings, less resistant than the previous ones, came to cover them, perhaps in the 14th or 15th century. Only fragments subsist on two registers.
