Moulin-pivot traditionnel en bois, typique de la Beauce et du Bassin Parisien, au soubassement apparent. Le pivot est étayé par les faux-pieds qui reposent sur des piles élevées lors de la mise en place des ailes à système Berton au 19e siècle (système semi-automatique d'ouverture des ailes). Des bandeaux de châtaignier couvrent chaque face de la cage. Les ailes sont constituées de planchettes mobiles, ce qui permet de faire varier à volonté la surface exposée au vent. Des petites ouvertures sont pratiquées sur chaque façade latérale et sur celle où se trouve la queue. Celle-ci permet d'orienter le moulin selon le vent. Un escalier y est accolé et donne accès à l'étage.

History
Traditional pivot mill in wood, typical of the Beauce and the Paris Basin, with exposed plinth. The pivot is supported by the false feet which rest on piers raised when the Berton system wings were installed in the 19th century (semi-automatic system for opening the wings). Bands of chestnut cover each face of the cage. The wings are made up of moveable small planks, which makes it possible to vary at will the surface exposed to the wind. Small openings are made on each lateral façade and on the one where the tail is found. The tail allows the mill to be oriented according to the wind. A staircase is attached to it and gives access to the storey.
