History
The origin of this establishment goes back at least to 1073, the date of the donation by Evrard, viscount of Chartres, to the abbey of Marmoutier of what he possessed at Nottonville. The interesting parts of the building, from the 15th or 16th century, consist of a fortified portal flanked by two turrets, with a large part of the enclosure wall, an important barn which has preserved its roof structure, and a main dwelling which, although deprived of its floors, has remained as it was originally, with its fireplaces and its spiral staircase.
