Ce moulin fait partie de l'ancienne batterie des moulins à vent de la Beauce en service jusqu'à la fin du 19e siècle et parfois au début du 20e. De forme prismatique rectangulaire, il est érigé sur une tourelle en maçonnerie formant un local à usage de magasin. Son origine remonterait au 16e siècle. Le moulin actuel est une reconstruction de 1790. Au 19e siècle, ses fondations sont rehaussées, la queue abaissée, la longueur et les sections de l'arbre sont augmentées, la porte de l'escalier et du monte-sac est déplacée. History
This mill is part of the old battery of windmills of the Beauce in service until the end of the 19th century and sometimes in the early 20th. Of rectangular prismatic form, it is erected on a masonry tower forming a space for use as a store. Its origin would go back to the 16th century. The present mill is a reconstruction of 1790. In the 19th century, its foundations are raised, the tail lowered, the length and sections of the shaft are increased, the door of the staircase and the sack hoist is moved. The mechanism is located on the second floor. The shaft which the wings move causes the pinion to turn which drives the pulley controlling the millstones. The brake consists of a steel blade whose action is exerted on the upper part of the pinion.
