Historique
Le donjon date du 15e siècle. L'édifice appartient au type du château à enceinte, à l'intérieur de laquelle se dressent le donjon, les tours flanquantes et l'entrée fortifiée, et renfermant quelques bâtiments à usage civil. De ce château et de ses annexes subsistent : le donjon, un bâtiment adossé au côté sud du donjon, une ancienne tour d'angle circulaire reliée à un corps de logis de la fin du 15e siècle par une tour d'escalier carrée hors-oeuvre élevée à la même époque. Ce corps de logis, fort restauré et surélevé au 19e siècle, possède une salle basse voûtée d'ogives appelée "chapelle". Au milieu du 18e siècle, deux constructions couvertes furent ajoutées au donjon ; le bâtiment sud fut restauré ainsi que l'écurie située autrefois dans la basse-cour.

History
The keep dates from the 15th century. The building belongs to the type of castle with an enclosure, within which stand the keep, the flanking towers and the fortified entrance, and containing some buildings for civil use. Of this castle and its annexes there remain: the keep, a building leaning against the south side of the keep, an old circular corner tower connected to a dwelling block from the end of the 15th century by a square staircase tower projecting outward erected at the same period. This dwelling block, heavily restored and raised in the 19th century, possesses a low room with a rib vault called "chapel". In the middle of the 18th century, two covered constructions were added to the keep; the south building was restored as well as the stable formerly situated in the lower courtyard.
