Historique
Prieuré bénédictin de Déols. Les vestiges 12e siècle se trouvent dans le transept nord .Ceux du 13e siècle sont dans le chevet (actuellement en ruine). La restauration et la reconstruction de la nef et du transept sud ont eu lieu dans la seconde moitié du 15e siècle et au début du 16e siècle pour la famille Gouge. Les peintures murales, en grande partie effacées, datent de la limite 15e siècle et du 16e siècle, ainsi que du 17e siècle. Lieu de pèlerinage depuis le Moyen Age, cette église a possédé le tombeau et les reliques de saint Sylvain du 16e siècle à 1897. Ce tombeau est actuellement dans l'église de La Celle.

History
Benedictine priory of Déols. The 12th-century remains are found in the north transept. Those of the 13th century are in the chevet (currently in ruins). The restoration and rebuilding of the nave and south transept took place in the second half of the 15th century and at the beginning of the 16th century for the Gouge family. The wall paintings, largely erased, date from the boundary of the 15th and 16th centuries, as well as from the 17th century. A place of pilgrimage since the Middle Ages, this church possessed the tomb and relics of saint Sylvain from the 16th century to 1897. This tomb is currently in the church of La Celle.
