L'église est le seul élément subsistant de ce prieuré dépendant de l'abbaye de Saint-Martin-de-Marmoutiers, près de Tours, uni au petit séminaire de Bourges en 1742. Il constitue le seul édifice roman de Bourges en partie conservé. La chapelle a été transformée en grange au 19e siècle. La charpente à chevrons portant fermes, probablement datée du début du 15e siècle, est le témoin le plus ancien, à Bourges, de ce type de charpente.

History
The church is the only remaining element of this priory depending on the abbey of Saint-Martin-de-Marmoutiers, near Tours, united to the minor seminary of Bourges in 1742. It constitutes the only Romanesque building of Bourges partly preserved. The chapel was converted into a barn in the 19th century. The roof structure with rafts bearing trusses, probably dated to the early 15th century, is the oldest witness, in Bourges, of this type of roof structure.
