Historique
Prieuré du 13e siècle, à l'origine simple bastide, placé sous la tutelle de l'abbaye cistercienne de Leyme dans le Lot. En partie détruit en 1562 par les Protestants, il est reconstruit en 1621. Les religieux s'y réinstallent en 1662. Le couvent se compose d'une maison, d'une grange et d'un jardin attenant. En 1791, il est vendu comme bien national puis désaffecté au 19e siècle. Le plan quadrangulaire est classique. Les différents corps de bâtiments entourent la cour. La tour du 13e siècle a été chemisée au 16e siècle. Il s'agit de la partie ancienne construite sur plan carré. Les trois étages sont desservis par un escalier à vis dans une tourelle. Le parloir est décoré de peintures murales de la fin du 17e siècle ou du début du 18e. Il s'agit d'un décor d'anges, d'oiseaux, de fleurs et de rinceaux de couleur bleue.

History
Priory of the 13th century, originally a simple bastide, placed under the tutelage of the Cistercian abbey of Leyme in the Lot. Partly destroyed in 1562 by the Protestants, it was rebuilt in 1621. The religious reinstalled there in 1662. The convent comprises a house, a barn and an adjoining garden. In 1791, it was sold as national property and then disused in the 19th century. The quadrangular plan is classical. The different buildings surround the courtyard. The 13th-century tower was faced in the 16th century. It is the ancient part built on a square plan. The three storeys are served by a spiral staircase in a small tower. The parlour is decorated with wall paintings from the end of the 17th century or the beginning of the 18th. It is a decoration of angels, birds, flowers and scrollwork in blue colour.
