Historique
La tour d'escalier, construite sur plan carré, devait faire partie d'un ensemble. Des fenêtres anciennes subsistent par endroit. L'ouvrage a dû être construite au 16e siècle et subir des transformations au 17e siècle. La tour est construite en brique et pierre. Les appuis possèdent des consoles sculptées. Un escalier en pierre donne, à l'extérieur, accès à la tour. De là, à l'intérieur, un escalier à vis dessert les deux premiers étages. Au-dessus, un petit escalier à vis construit dans une échauguette sur pendentif, dessert une pièce située dans la tour et la terrasse au sommet. Le plafond de l'escalier montre un faux limon sur plan arrondi, alors que les marches sont taillées droites sur le dessus et forment également redents sur le reste du plafond.

History
The staircase tower, built on a square plan, must have been part of a larger complex. Old windows survive in places. The structure must have been built in the 16th century and undergo transformations in the 17th century. The tower is built of brick and stone. The sills have sculpted corbels. An external stone staircase provides access to the tower. From there, inside, a spiral staircase serves the first two storeys. Above, a small spiral staircase built in a machicolated turret on a pendentive serves a room situated in the tower and the terrace at the top. The ceiling of the staircase shows a false string on a rounded plan, while the steps are cut straight on the top and also form steps on the rest of the ceiling.
