Immeuble construit vers 1685. En 1787, le marquis de Rochegude, contemporain de Lapeyrouse et navigateur, rachète l'hôtel et entreprend, au début du 19e siècle, la construction des avant-corps en terrasses. L'hôtel est construit en U autour d'une cour centrale donnant sur la rue. Les façades sont rehaussées par les couleurs de la brique et de la pierre, utilisées en alternance. Le corps central est surmonté d'un fronton orné du blason des Rochegude. Le jardin à parterre a été aménagé par Rochegude. L'intérieur a été fortement remanié. Seul subsiste l'escalier de marbre à balustres de pierre datant de la fin du 17e siècle. Au premier étage de l'aile sud, des boiseries proviennent de l'archevêché (1908).

History
Building constructed around 1685. In 1787, the marquis de Rochegude, contemporary of Lapeyrouse and navigator, buys back the hôtel and undertakes, at the beginning of the 19th century, the construction of the projecting sections in terraces. The hôtel is constructed in a U around a central courtyard opening onto the street. The façades are enhanced by the colours of brick and stone, used in alternation. The central body is topped with a pediment decorated with the coat of arms of the Rochegudes. The parterre garden was laid out by Rochegude. The interior was heavily remodelled. Only the marble staircase with stone balusters dating from the end of the 17th century remains. On the first floor of the south wing, wood panelling comes from the archbishopric (1908).
