History
At an unknown date, a first monastery is built with church over martyrium. Around 1030, a second church is rebuilt by Sancius, with construction of the two side chapels, first enlargement of the choir, construction of the nave at the same level as the chapels. Between 1030 and 1080, rebuilding of a third church by Guillaume Par with enlargement of the sanctuary (present choir), formerly vaulted with barrel vault and semi-dome, rebuilding of the vault of the crypt, raising of the level of the sanctuary and the nave. In 1912, the church was the subject of an important restoration campaign.
