Historique
La nef se termine par un chevet polygonal. A l'ouest se dresse la tour qui couvre la tribune sous laquelle la clôture délimite un vestibule. Côté sud, une chapelle abritant les fonts baptismaux s'ouvre sur la nef. Un décor peint couvre voûtes et murs de la nef et du bas-côté. Le porche conserve la représentation des Sept péchés capitaux, représentés sous l'apparence de femmes que tentent des démons. Dans la première travée, Jugement dernier, Christ montrant ses plaies, anges de la Résurrection ; sur le mur sud, généalogie de la Vierge. La seconde travée montre la lapidation de saint Etienne ; en face sont représentés saint Sébastien, saint Antoine et deux saints évêques. La voûte est ornée des patriarches et des prophètes présentés dans des médaillons. Cette représentation se poursuivait également dans l'abside. Dans le collatéral nord sont représentés des épisodes de la Passion du Christ et, sur les voûtes, les symboles des évangélistes et les Pères de l'Eglise latine. Ce décor a été réalisé entre le 16e et le 17e siècle (1591-1592 pour le mur sud de la nef).

History
The nave terminates in a polygonal chevet. To the west stands the tower which covers the gallery under which the screen delimits a vestibule. On the south side, a chapel housing the baptismal fonts opens onto the nave. Painted decoration covers the vaults and walls of the nave and aisle. The porch preserves the representation of the Seven Deadly Sins, represented in the form of women tempted by demons. In the first bay, Last Judgment, Christ showing his wounds, angels of the Resurrection; on the south wall, genealogy of the Virgin. The second bay shows the stoning of Saint Stephen; opposite are represented Saint Sebastian, Saint Anthony and two bishop saints. The vault is adorned with patriarchs and prophets presented in medallions. This representation continued also in the apse. In the north aisle are represented episodes of the Passion of Christ and, on the vaults, the symbols of the evangelists and the Fathers of the Latin Church. This decoration was executed between the 16th and 17th century (1591-1592 for the south wall of the nave).
