Ensemble de bâtiments liés à l'ouverture et à l'exploitation du canal du Midi comme voie de communication fluviale. Cet ensemble comprend le château du Canal, le magasin Subra, les archives du canal, les magasins et entrepôts de l'Impasse Bonnet, l'ensemble ayant été bâti sur une période s'étendant du début du 18e au milieu du 19e siècle. History
Set of buildings linked to the opening and exploitation of the Canal du Midi as a river communication route. This set comprises the Canal château, the Subra warehouse, the canal archives, the warehouses and storerooms of Impasse Bonnet, the whole having been built over a period extending from the early 18th to the mid-19th century. The Canal château, built by Antoine de Niquet, is the oldest building. It is a warehouse flanked by two buildings housing the chamber of justice and the canal house. On either side of the château are erected, in 1781 and 1790, warehouses of which only a vestige remains. A pavilion is built between 1834 and 1836 for archives. From 1860 onwards, construction of storerooms.
