Château d'époque Renaissance dont l'unique tour encore existante, en saillie sur la façade, est un donjon hexagonal renfermant un escalier de pierre, sur lequel s'ouvrent les pièces d'habitation de la partie gauche. Trois fenêtres à meneaux horizontaux éclairent l'escalier. Les pièces desservies par cet escalier ont des plafonds à poutres apparentes nervurées, avec motifs de tête de poutre. C'est le seul type régional de château de haute montagne.

History
Renaissance period château whose only still-existing tower, projecting from the façade, is a hexagonal keep containing a stone staircase, onto which open the living rooms of the left part. Three windows with horizontal mullions light the staircase. The rooms served by this staircase have ceilings with exposed ribbed beams, with beam-head motifs. It is the only regional type of high mountain château.
