Historique
Edifice construit ou reconstruit vers le 14e siècle, conservant le plan et le volume extérieur des églises pyrénéennes. Nef unique voûtée en berceau brisé et terminée par une abside couverte en cul-de-four. Un clocher-mur de deux arcades surmonte le pignon occidental. Une petite chapelle, sans doute funéraire, a été accolée au nord, une sacristie au sud. La chapelle nord a dû être construite au début du 16e siècle et est couverte d'une croisée d'ogives. Des peintures murales couvrent cette chapelle. Une scène seigneuriale se compose d'un cavalier et de dames se détachant sur un dallage en perspective. History
Building constructed or reconstructed towards the 14th century, retaining the plan and external volume of Pyrenean churches. Single nave vaulted in pointed barrel vault and terminated by an apse covered in hemispherical vault. A bell tower-wall of two arcades surmounts the western gable. A small chapel, probably funerary, was adjoined to the north, a sacristy to the south. The north chapel was probably constructed in the early 16th century and is covered with a rib vault. Mural paintings cover this chapel. A seigneurial scene comprises a horseman and ladies standing out against a perspective flooring. Other figures occupy the eight springings of the vault compartments. The ribs are decorated with geometric figures. An apparently religious scene is recognizable on the rear wall.
