Construit en 1571 (date portée) , le moulin à vent de Mourvilles-Hautes est le plus ancien du sud-ouest, ses éléments mécaniques, aussi très vieux, remontent en partie au 17e siècle (date portée, 1682, sur un des axes verticaux en bois, et inscription du meunier Pastre). History
Constructed in 1571 (dated), the windmill of Mourvilles-Hautes is the oldest in the south-west, its mechanical elements, also very old, date in part to the 17th century (dated, 1682, on one of the vertical wooden axes, and inscription of the miller Pastre). Its truncated conical tower, with a double perron, wings with wooden crossbeams, capable of pivoting under the action of the tailvane, and a roof of shingles, are completed by milling mechanisms, exceptional for their antiquity. The mill is associated with another mill, of the 18th century, not protected, and a miller's house, registered with the old mill from 1988. These protections are the result of ethnological research conducted in the Lauragais.
