Château entièrement bâti en pierre, cantonné de deux tours, et ouvert de petites fenêtres carrées. La porte d'entrée est en plein cintre. Le rez-de-chaussée est supporté par une voûte en plein cintre surbaissée. L'enceinte du château est formée en grande partie par les murs extérieurs des communs. A la fin du 16e siècle, la commune était administrée par trois consuls élus dont l'autorité subissait l'influence du seigneur. Toute décision prise n'avait force de loi qu'après avoir été approuvée par le châtelain.

History
Castle entirely built in stone, flanked by two towers, and opened by small square windows. The entrance door is a round arch. The ground floor is supported by a flattened round arch vault. The castle's enclosure is formed in great part by the outer walls of the outbuildings. At the end of the 16th century, the commune was administered by three elected consuls whose authority was subject to the influence of the lord. Any decision taken had the force of law only after being approved by the castellan.
