La bastide de Grenade fut fondée en 1270 par les moines de Grandselves. L'église fut commencée vers1290, et le pignon oriental agrandi à la fin du 15e siècle. History
The bastide of Grenade was founded in 1270 by the monks of Grandselves. The church was begun around 1290, and the east gable enlarged at the end of the 15th century. It is a brick church, vaulted over rib vaults. The chapels open between the buttresses. The walls are pierced by tall windows with central mullion and flamboyant tracery. The bell tower, later than the church, presents itself as an octagonal tower of Toulouse style, with three storeys surmounted by a spire. The three storeys are pierced by paired arcatures in mitre and pointed arch form, all crowned by a brick arcature in mitres, between corner pinnacles framing the spire.
