A côté du donjon médiéval renfermant de précieuses peintures murales des 15e-16e siècles, les Anjony firent bâtir au milieu du 18e siècle une aile indépendante plus adaptée aux exigences de confort et de décoration de l'époque : d'une architecture sévère, due à la rigueur du climat et à l'emploi de matériaux locaux, cette grise bâtisse rectangulaire en basalte ne comporte qu'un niveau principal surmonté d'importantes toitures de lauzes à deux niveaux de lucarnes. En revanche, l'intérieur renferme un ensemble de décors - boiseries, parquets, cheminées et trumeaux - réalisés avec toute la délicatesse et le raffinement du style Louis XV. Le long de l'allée d'accès au château, plusieurs bâtiments de communs, construits dans le même style, complètent cet ensemble exceptionnel.

Grand corps de bâtiment comprenant un sous-sol ; deux niveaux avec une grande salle chacun. Une salle du 1er est plafonnée et peinte, l'autre salle du 2ème est voûtée d'ogives. Quatre grosses tours aux angles avec la chapelle peinte et voûtée dans l'une d'elles. Une aile du XVIIIe siècle sur entrée, à rez-de-chaussée et grand toit.

History
Beside the medieval keep containing precious mural paintings of the 15th-16th centuries, the Anjony had built in the middle of the 18th century an independent wing better adapted to the requirements of comfort and decoration of the period: of severe architecture, due to the rigour of the climate and to the use of local materials, this grey rectangular building in basalt comprises only a main level surmounted by substantial lauzes roofs with two levels of dormers. On the other hand, the interior contains a set of decorations - timber-work, parquets, fireplaces and trumeau panels - executed with all the delicacy and refinement of the Louis XV style. Along the access alley to the castle, several buildings of outbuildings, constructed in the same style, complete this exceptional ensemble.

Large corps de bâtiment comprising a basement; two levels with a large room each. A room on the 1st level is ceiled and painted, the other room on the 2nd level is vaulted with rib vault. Four large towers at the angles with the chapel painted and vaulted in one of them. A wing of the 18th century on the entrance, at ground level and large roof.
