Historique
Fief connu dès la fin du 14e siècle. En 1794, le château fut vendu nationalement comme bien d'émigré. L'édifice comprend un corps de logis rectangulaire et une tour qui daterait de la fin du 15e ou du début du 16e siècle. La tour, partiellement engagée dans la façade, est entourée d'un chemin de ronde supporté par des corbeaux. Un créneau s'ouvre sur chacune des façades Est, sud et ouest. L'accès au chemin s'effectue par un escalier de pierre dans une tourelle supportée par un cul-de-lampe et implantée à l'angle de la tour et du corps de bâtiment. History
Fief known from the late 14th century. In 1794, the castle was sold nationally as the property of an émigré. The building comprises a rectangular main dwelling and a tower which would date from the late 15th or early 16th century. The tower, partially set into the façade, is surrounded by a wall-walk supported by corbels. A battlement opens onto each of the east, south and west façades. Access to the wall-walk is gained by a stone staircase in a turret supported by a corbel and located at the angle of the tower and building body. On the west side there was a door, surmounted by a lintel in pointed arch containing a shield with unidentifiable arms. This opening has been partially filled in and transformed into a window. This must have been the original entrance door. The openings of this tower and the rest of the castle were altered in the 19th century.
