The church of Brezons was the castle chapel of a castle that has since disappeared. Hence its situation on a promontory at the upper extremity of the village. The chevet and the walls of the nave are Romanesque; the side chapels are 15th or 16th century, the base of the western mass of 1600, the upper part of the bell tower of the 19th century, the vaults of the nave of 1864, the south portal of 1898. Notable is a fine ensemble of stained-glass windows of the 19th and 20th centuries, including those by the glazier Borie of Puy.

The semi-circular chevet is crowned with modillions, as is the south chapel. The neo-Romanesque south portal features a splayed opening, colonnette and capitals. The upper part of the neo-Romanesque bell tower has six paired openings beneath a round relieving arch. The chevet has a barrel vault resting on arcature (column, historiated capitals). The nave is vaulted with wooden ribs, with decorated hanging keystones. The side chapels are also vaulted with ribs that rest on figured corbels and keystones. The south chapel has a recess beneath a pointed arch.
