History

The oldest part of this Romanesque church, from the early 12th century, comprises only the apse and the northern absidiole, the arms of the crossing of the transept surmounted by a dome with eight facets. A chapel was added to the south in the 15th century, replacing the southern absidiole. A nave of late period covered by a broken ceiling occupies the site of the Romanesque nave. The bell tower is ornamented, on the east, north and west faces, by arcatures in mitre grouped by four. The opening which exists on the south side comprises, above, three contiguous ashlar stones decorated with a large flower with four petals reuniting around a central bud.
