History
Building probably from the 11th century whose construction was modified by a change of plan, which would have occurred during the execution of the work or shortly after. The building is composed of a narthex, a broad nave covered by exposed roof structure, transepts flanked by absidioles and a choir with a circular apse flanked by two half absidioles. The crossing is covered by an octagonal dome raised on pendentives and surmounted by an incomplete octagonal bell tower.
