L'ensemble se compose d'un donjon de plan rectangulaire comprenant quatre étages en élévation et deux étages en sous-sol ; d'une enceinte dont les murs sont reliés, aux angles, par une tourelle circulaire. La construction pourrait remonter au 12e siècle. Toutefois, les fenêtres à meneaux et les cheminées des étages ont été établies vers la fin du 16e siècle, époque où le donjon servit à loger soit des propriétaires, soit des fermiers. History
The complex comprises a keep of rectangular plan with four storeys in elevation and two storeys in basement; an enclosure whose walls are connected, at the angles, by a circular turret. The construction could date back to the 12th century. However, the mullioned windows and fireplaces of the storeys were established towards the end of the 16th century, when the keep served to lodge either owners or tenant farmers. The upper part of the top storey appears to have been rebuilt in the 13th century and subsequently altered to create an additional storey and receive the current roof structure and covering. A spiral staircase turret, which was formerly situated on the north face, used to serve the storeys. The enclosure, which enveloped the keep, and the two remaining turrets were rebuilt at the end of the 16th century on the old foundations. Similarly, the entrance door of the keep and the perron giving access to it are more recent.
