Construction rurale du 16e ou 17e siècle, caractéristique des constructions de la Sologne bourbonnaise, pauvre en matériaux minéraux, avec utilisation du bois et de la brique. Les murs sont formés de cadres carrés à l'intérieur desquels des croix de Saint-André en bois servent d'armature. Le remplissage des murs est fait par des appareillages de briques, ensuite recouvertes d'un enduit à la chaux. La charpente est de type gothique à fermettes sur une partie, et classique sur l'autre ; l'ensemble forme une carène de vaisseau renversée. Le plan du bâtiment formait initialement une équerre, dont l'un des bras s'est effondré.

History
Rural construction of the 16th or 17th century, characteristic of the constructions of the Bourbonnais Sologne, poor in mineral materials, with use of wood and brick. The walls are formed of square frames within which wooden Saint-Andrew's crosses serve as framework. The filling of the walls is done by brick coursing, subsequently covered with lime render. The roof structure is of Gothic type with rafters on one part, and classical on the other; the whole forms an inverted ship's hull. The plan of the building initially formed an L-shape, one arm of which has collapsed.
