Historique
Eglise d'origine romane, dont il subsiste de cette période la nef, le transept, le clocher, le choeur et les absidioles. Les murs latéraux des bas-côtés ont été reconstruits à une époque récente. La façade occidentale s'ouvre par une porte en arc brisé abritée sous un porche établi postérieurement. Le porche d'entrée est orné d'un reste de peinture murale du 15e siècle, représentant la Vierge et plusieurs saints. Le vantail droit de la porte présente un verrou du 15e siècle, en fer forgé, dont l'extrémité est ornée d'une tête d'animal. Au-dessus de la fenêtre ouvrant sur les bras nord, est encastré dans un mur une pierre en andésite sculptée d'armoiries bûchées, sous une couronne. L'édifice est un élément archéologique intéressant pour l'étude du roman auvergnat.

History
Church of Romanesque origin, of which from this period remain the nave, the transept, the bell tower, the choir and the absidioles. The side walls of the aisles were rebuilt in a recent period. The western façade opens through a broken-arch door sheltered under a porch constructed later. The entrance porch is decorated with a remnant of 15th-century mural painting, representing the Virgin and several saints. The right leaf of the door presents a 15th-century bolt, in wrought iron, whose end is decorated with an animal head. Above the opening on the north arms, embedded in a wall is an andesite stone carved with effaced arms of heraldry, beneath a crown. The building is an archaeological feature of interest for the study of Auvergne Romanesque.
