L'édifice, bâti sur des bases plus anciennes, fut construit au 17e siècle. Hôtel de plan carré, divisé à l'intérieur en quatre pièces avec un escalier situé le long du mur nord, mitoyen avec la maison voisine avec laquelle il communique par deux ouvertures. La cage d'escalier est garnie de boiseries à panneaux rectangulaires. Un placard est aménagé en boiserie sous la première volée. Le garde-corps est constitué d'une balustrade en bois tourné 17e siècle. Au rez-de-chaussée, la cuisine conserve une cheminée surmontée d'un manteau garni de boiseries 17e. Le grand salon est garni de boiseries 18e siècle au décor mouluré. Au premier étage, chambre à alcôve dotée d'un décor Louis XVI. Construit pour une famille noble, cet hôtel adopte un mode architectural et décoratif caractéristique de l'époque classique dans cette région du Velay.

History
The building, constructed on older foundations, was built in the 17th century. Hotel of square plan, divided internally into four rooms with a staircase located along the north wall, adjoining the neighbouring house with which it communicates by two openings. The staircase well is furnished with panelled wainscoting with rectangular panels. A cupboard is fitted in wainscoting under the first flight. The balustrade consists of a turned wood balustrade of the 17th century. On the ground floor, the kitchen preserves a fireplace surmounted by a mantelpiece furnished with 17th century wainscoting. The great drawing room is furnished with 18th century wainscoting with moulded decoration. On the first floor, bedroom with alcove furnished with Louis XVI decoration. Constructed for a noble family, this hotel adopts an architectural and decorative mode characteristic of the classical period in this region of Velay.
