History
Auvergne Romanesque architecture whose apse is a characteristic example, where all the classical elements of this period in the region are found. The apse in barrel shape presents three Romanesque windows with double voussures carried by capitals and small columns on a fairly high plinth. The church has retained, from its monastic origin, a choir bay under a dome on trompes that is quite archaic, intermediate between the apse and the crossing of the transept vaulted in a slightly pointed barrel vault. Arrangement of the choir bay marking the allocation of the choir stalls for the office. Enlargement of the west face in the 19th century.
