The priory of Saint-Julien de Chaspinhac was dependent on Tournus. The construction dates back to the 12th century, composed of a nave of two bays and an apse in cul-de-four, circular on both faces. Two chapels were added subsequently, occupying the ordinary position of transepts. The capitals are adorned with foliage. Another primitive construction, with wide splaying, opens at the back of the sanctuary. The gable is raised by a campanile transformed into a bell tower in the 17th century, and struck by lightning in 1943.
