History
This building is one of the rare castles of the late 17th century preserved in the environs of Clermont. Its very sober architecture, highlighted with lava stone, is characteristic of the country houses of the Limagne of this period. It is also the last element of a series of 17th-century castles, many of which have been demolished. Inside, the joinery has disappeared, as have all interior decoration and fireplaces.
