Historique
L'église, lieu de pèlerinage, est connue dès 1100, mais fut reconstruite au 15e siècle. L'édifice comporte un choeur auquel font suite deux travées voûtées d'ogives, deux chapelles de chaque côté de la travée suivant le choeur. Le portail nord est à encadrement ogival à moulures qui se trouve sous un porche autrefois voûté d'ogives. Une sacristie voûtée est accolée au sud du choeur. L'accès s'y fait de l'intérieur de l'église par une porte à linteau en accolade. Au côté nord de la travée ouest, une porte en accolade donne accès à la tourelle ronde renfermant l'escalier en colimaçon conduisant au clocher. Le clocher, de forme carrée, comporte sur chacune de ses faces des fenêtres géminées en arc brisé dont la colonne médiane cylindrique est surmontée d'un chapiteau. Cet édifice est caractéristique des églises du Livradois.

History
The church, a place of pilgrimage, has been known since 1100, but was rebuilt in the 15th century. The building comprises a choir followed by two bays with rib vaults, two chapels on each side of the bay following the choir. The north portal has an ogival moulded frame which is found beneath a porch formerly vaulted with ribs. A vaulted sacristy is attached to the south of the choir. Access to it is from inside the church through a door with a shouldered lintel. On the north side of the western bay, a shouldered door gives access to the round turret containing the spiral staircase leading to the bell tower. The bell tower, of square form, has on each of its faces twin windows with pointed arches whose central cylindrical column is surmounted by a capital. This building is characteristic of churches in the Livradois.
