L'immeuble, tel qu'il se présente, comporte des éléments sculptés du 16e siècle intégrés sur un bâti plus ancien. Escalier et arcades furent bâtis durant la deuxième moitié du 17e siècle. Les façades et les aménagements intérieurs furent refaits au 18e siècle. L'hôtel se compose de plusieurs corps de logis en retour d'équerre autour d'une cour intérieure centrale. Cette maison noble disposait de l'eau courante dès le 18e siècle, grâce à la canalisation qui descendait la rue des Nobles, venant de la Fontaine du Terrail. Totalement remanié, l'hôtel vaut surtout pour sa cour intérieure, qui recèle des éléments architecturaux et décoratifs intéressants. L'escalier tournant, en rez-de-chaussée, à trois volées droites avec repos formant retour d'équerre, occupe le côté sud de la cour, derrière une galerie à arcades. La cour intérieure est ouverte au nord et au sud par une paire d'arcades plein-cintre à clef saillante retombant sur une pile carrée par l'intermédiaire d'une moulure d'imposte. Ces arcades ouvrent sur une galerie qui précède au sud l'escalier d'accès aux étages, et est voûtée d'arête au nord. Cette galerie nord est percée de nombreuses portes desservant les pièces du rez-de-chaussée. A l'est, le remplage flamboyant repose sur une frise d'arcatures d'inspiration Renaissance. A l'ouest, le remplage n'occupe qu'un tiers du tympan et dessine des oves et des losanges de remplissage. La face Est de la cour est ornée de trois consoles Renaissance qui supportent le linteau d'une galerie en surplomb. La tête de ces consoles, qui reposent sur de petits culots, s'enroule en volute rentrante ornée d'un cordon à gland. L'à-plat est sculpté d'un décor fin Renaissance début 17e.

History
The building, as it presents itself, contains carved elements of the 16th century integrated onto an older structure. Staircase and arcades were built during the second half of the 17th century. This noble house had running water from the 18th century, thanks to the conduit that descended the rue des Nobles, coming from the Fontaine du Terrail. Entirely remodelled, the hotel is above all valued for its interior courtyard, which contains interesting architectural and decorative elements. The turning staircase, on the ground floor, with three straight flights with landings forming right-angled return, occupies the south side of the courtyard, behind an arcaded gallery. The interior courtyard is open to the north and south by a pair of round-arch arcades with projecting keystone resting on a square pier by means of an impost moulding. These arcades open onto a gallery which precedes to the south the staircase access to the upper floors, and is vaulted with groining to the north. This north gallery is pierced by numerous doors serving the ground-floor rooms. To the east, the Flamboyant tracery rests on a frieze of arcatures of Renaissance inspiration. To the west, the tracery occupies only one third of the tympanum and draws ovals and diamond fillings. The East face of the courtyard is decorated with three Renaissance consoles which support the lintel of an overhanging gallery. The head of these consoles, which rest on small corbels, curls inward in a returning volute adorned with a acorn cord. The flat surface is carved with fine Renaissance to early 17th-century décor.
