Historique
Château et communs : 11e siècle, 15e siècle. Intérieur : 16e siècle, 18e siècle. Chapelle : 19e siècle. L'édifice porte la marque des modifications et extensions qui, au 18e siècle, ont apporté aux demeures médiévales le confort. Il est formé d'un corps de logis rectangulaire garni de tours aux angles, et auquel a été ajouté postérieurement une aile en retour au nord. Isolé de toutes parts par de larges douves, l'accès s'effectue par deux ponts. La façade Est est encadrée de deux tours circulaires et présente, en son centre, une tourelle polygonale saillante renfermant l'escalier à vis. La façade sud et celle comprise entre les tours nord-ouest et nord-est, conservent leurs façades primitives derrière la façade actuelle. Les anciens bâtiments des communs forment arc de cercle en limite sud du terre-plein.

History
Castle and outbuildings: 11th century, 15th century. Interior: 16th century, 18th century. Chapel: 19th century. The building bears the mark of the modifications and extensions which, in the 18th century, brought to medieval dwellings comfort. It is formed of a rectangular dwelling block furnished with towers at the angles, and to which was later added a return wing to the north. Isolated on all sides by wide moats, access is by two bridges. The East façade is framed by two circular towers and presents, at its centre, a projecting polygonal turret containing the spiral staircase. The south façade and that comprised between the north-west and north-east towers, retain their original façades behind the present façade. The old outbuildings form an arc of a circle at the southern limit of the platform.
