L'enceinte du château-fort était établie sur une butte, de forme ovoïde, et devait contenir primitivement toutes les maisons du lieu. History
The enclosure of the castle-fort was established on a mound of ovoid shape, and must originally have contained all the houses of the place. The wall was flanked at intervals by small towers. The main entrance was effected on the north-west by a fortified gate. This is a work with a bowed arch surmounted, on its west face, by machicolations. The upper part has been decapitated. Access was by a staircase. The edifice is surmounted, on the north side, by a small wall pierced by an opening containing a bell. Inside the enclosure, the gate is surmounted by a small opening with a moulded stone frame.
