Le toit est en pavillon, peu élevé et surmonté d'un lanternon à quatre côtés, couvert d'un épi de faîtage. Les murs sont en pisé soutenu par des croisillons de bois.

History
Dovecote in timber framing on stilts, a rare type in Auvergne, probably later than the 16th century, formerly dovecotes being constructed from ground level and not on four pillars. The transition between the support and the building is made by four straight or angled gussets. The dovecote proper is of parallelepiped form. The roof is hip, not very high and surmounted by a four-sided lantern, covered with a roof finial. The walls are in rammed earth supported by wooden braces.
