Le château constitue un ensemble hétérogène qui se compose d'un corps de logis principal de plan carré, édifié à la fin du 17e siècle, dont l'architecture est animée de tourelles d'angle, de lucarnes et d'une haute toiture. Il a été prolongé au 18e siècle par une aile d'aspect plus sévère que coiffe un toit plat. Indépendante par rapport au corps de logis du 17e siècle, s'étend une longue aile de communs, typiquement auvergnate, qui paraît de la même époque. History
The castle constitutes a heterogeneous complex which consists of a principal dwelling block of square plan, built at the end of the 17th century, whose architecture is enlivened by corner turrets, dormers and a high roof. It was extended in the 18th century by a wing of more austere appearance topped with a flat roof. Independent with respect to the dwelling block of the 17th century, extends a long wing of outbuildings, typically Auvergnat, which appears to be from the same period. In the park, there remains a small quadrilobed basin to the south of the dwelling, and a narrow body of water. The castle is protected by a gate on the square side, in which opens the main portal.
